Sketchbook: We first made the end page. I went for a pseudo starry night vibe for my page but it kinda just looks like feathers. Then we made the pages. Next we made the cover, at first I had the plan to knit a cover from various plastic bags. But my schedule was way too busy for that. So I chose a basic black cover. I plan to use a white marker to cover the basicness.
Impressionism: We were tasked with doing an impressionistic painting. My proclivity endures. I chose to do a portrait of a beautiful woman, shocker. It was looking good until the face. I detest this so much. My proportions are off and It looks awful. But I didn't do a house or water so im at least original.
Self portrait: We were tasked to draw ourselves. As stated I've drawn so many faces its become second nature. But this is the first time i've drawn a masculine face. It wasn't difficult just took a good amount of time. For critiques, Id say spend more time on texture and put more dimension in the hair.
Final project: I originally chose to do a massive portrait of a devil woman smoking but with my broken wrist I had to do a sculpture. I wanted to do it as an overgrown statue with moss but I couldn't find moss anywhere. I tried to make it as broken but fixed with gold and I think I succeeded. Next time i'll use a different clay.
