Hand bowl/Final: I love dishes. I think they are great. They hold everything that I need. I made a dish with hands holding each side. I made it with slabs. The hands were inspired by a ceramic purse I saw on Pinterest. I think it turned out well. I had trouble with a finger falling off, but I glaze glued it so I hope it will fuse together in the kiln.

All about food: I made a sushi plate. It was the easiest thing possible because I was depressed. It came out well, i'll use it as a paint pallet if needed. I made it with slabs. So many slabs. I think it went well. Very smooth. Very uniform.
Under the Sea: Tasked with making two objects related to under the sea, I made mermaid purses. They function as flower pots, mainly for bathrooms. I like how they came out. I used a mix of techniques to make these pieces. I used slabs for the bodies, coils for the chain, and pinch pots for the bottom of the clam. The glaze is pretty even. I wanted a shiny, light blue color for the clam. But I ended up with a greenish, satin glaze. Both purses look like they've been underwater for a long time so maybe it ended well.
Mugs: They came out well. A little wonky, but good nonetheless. We need different red glaze tho. I tried to throw it on the wheel originally, but that didn't work. So I made it a coil pot. I wish my original design worked out but I'll do that in college or something.
Final: I love this project so much. It came out better than I ever could have expected. I've wanted to do this for a year and I am so happy I did. I am sad to see it leave, as it is a gift. But the owner will love it. I had no problems making this, it was just slabs.
Dirt Clay: We had to make clay. I didn't like it. But I eventually came to not hate hate it. I made a necklace and melted a piece of glass on top of it. The glass looks questionable, but its fine.
Slab: We had to make a ceramics piece out of slabs of clay. I decided to make a star toothbrush holder after being highly dissatisfied with my bathroom counter. I like how it turned out. If I could, I would've been more careful about the placing of the black underglaze.
Coil Pot: We were tasked with making coil pots. A coil pot is one that that is comprised of clay wringlets stacked on top of another. I decided to go with a vampire themed pot. I wanted the inside to look dead so I glazed it with a red that looks sickly. I am generally happy with the outcome.
Pinch Pots: For this project we were tasked with creating something with pinch pots. The only requirement was having a minimum of three pinch pots making up the body of the sculpture. So I went with a heart flower pot that had mouths coming off of it. The mouths are fully functional for watering. And I am generally happy with the outcome. The glazing went awry though. I guess my coats were uneven, but I reglazed it.
Pendants: For the first ceramics project we were tasked with making ceramic pendants. I chose to do a star, originally made for a bolo tie. I decided to make it a necklace because bracelets would take too long. I wish I wouldve put more glaze on my items, but the messed up look reminds me of a mermaid.
